Some of us had nice parents who gave us a Furby for Christmas when we were young. And some of us had character-building parents who set the adorable little demonic critters in a closet to start singing in the middle of the night and forever scar our childhoods. This week is National Forest Week! Celebrate with the National Forest Foundation by heading to your nearest forest. At a loss for what to do when you get there? Take a hike, study some plants, listen for ghosts, participate in some forest bathing, look for footprints.
