PASCO FIREFIGHTER ARRESTED: A Pasco County firefighter has been arrested on charges of possession of child po*******hy following an investigation by the Hernando County Sheriff's Office. Tyler John Holton, 30, of Spring Hill, was taken into custody on March 6, 2025, after a search warrant was executed at his residence.
According to the Hernando County Sheriffโs office, the investigation began on December 28, 2024, when detectives received information regarding the possession of child po*******hy. Subsequent investigation identified Holton as a suspect.
On March 6, 2025, detectives obtained a court-authorized search warrant for Holtonโs Spring Hill residence. The Hernando County Sheriff's Office Special Victim's Unit executed the warrant and made contact with Holton.
According to the Sheriff's Office, Holton denied knowledge or ownership of an account containing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). However, a search of his phone at the scene revealed the suspect account.
Holton, who is employed as a firefighter in Pasco County, was arrested and charged with:

Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device
He is being held without bond.
"Sheriff Al Nienhuis has a zero tolerance for possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material," stated the Hernando County Sheriff's Office in a press release. "Any and all tips are, and will be, meticulously investigated, no stone will be left unturned. Any person who possesses material of this nature will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."
