One of the most fun things about being a truly local media outlet is that by staying within residents’ geographic sphere of influence, our platform becomes a veritable murderboard of connections (note: no one was harmed in the making of this string theory). But it WAS at June ‘22’s cover feature Cameron Melville’s Club Helsinki Open Mic hosted by October ‘22’s cover Ryder Cooley & our Content Coordinator Jon B. Woodin of the Dust Bowl Faeries that I first saw Tony Kieraldo perform, & our January ’25 cover girl Danette Gorman of the Hudson Festival Orchestra who created the Melting Pot music series hosted by the First Presbyterian Church, most recently applauded in this month’s issue as the site of Witches Along The Hudson’s first performance! Keep that applause coming for Tony next Saturday, October 25th 🎹⛪️👏

RETRACT! RETRACT! As our October issue starts to hit mailboxes, please note this retraction to our article on page 14, citing the Crandell Theatre's previously-released reopening date of 10/10 - they have since alerted us that due to unforeseen circumstances, reopening festivities have been rescheduled for 10/15.

UPDATE: Wednesday, OCTOBER 15, is the Crandell's NEW Reopening Date. Please mark your calendars!

We can't wait to welcome you to our Public Open House from 11am - 1pm that day. Members of our community will be among the first to see the new Crandell, before screenings restart just 48 hours later for the opening of FilmColumbia25.
