We’ve partnered with Celebrate Birthdays, a charity dedicated to bringing joy to foster kids, terminally ill children, and homeless youth, to make their birthdays exceptional. John Kelly will be broadcasting live at Sun Toyota this Sunday from 1 till 3 as we celebrate Aubriana’s 13th birthday!

Aubrina is now cancer free, so to celebrate we’re helping her with a charity she started herself for St. Jude called Aubriana's Toy Box…. It’s all about giving back to kids who were in the same position as she was. You’ll get a free Bay Area Renaissance Festival ticket for your new toy donation for Aubriana's Toy Box or party supply items for Celebrate Birthdays.

We’ll be cooking up hot dogs and handing out ice cold drinks. And you have a chance to win Broken Hearts the Tom petty Tribute tickets at the Mahaffey theater, restaurant gift cards, Tampa Bay Bucs gear, and so much more.

A Spectacular First: Downtown New Port Richey’s Inaugural Mardi Gras Draws 10,000 Attendees
Downtown New Port Richey transformed into a vibrant celebration as Hits 106, in partnership with Mowry Group LLC and the New Port Richey Main Street, Inc., hosted the first-ever Mardi Gras event—and what an unforgettable night it was! With over 10,000 attendees, the streets came alive with music, performances, and community spirit, marking the beginning of what promises to be an exciting annual tradition.

This event would not have been possible without the support of our incredible partners, who helped bring the vision of New Port Richey’s Mardi Gras to life.

What a Night for New Port Richey’s First Mardi Gras! 🎭🎶

LED light circus, stilt walkers, and the incredible Jazz Phools lit up the night—plus an electrifying performance by Julie Marie Somba! The energy was unreal, the second line parade was vibrant, and the community showed up in full Mardi Gras spirit.

Celebrate Mardi Gras this Saturday night at the Dos Equis Mardi Crawl Downtown New Port Richey Presented by Sink Hole Titan.

Marvelous Marvin will be broadcasting live starting at 7PM…and we’ll hit the downtown bars, including the Social, featuring live music, a photo booth, and 200 FREE Masks. At Bourbon on Main get FREE Beads while they last, live music, souvenir $10 hurricanes, and beignets. The first 52 guests at Fitzgeralds Irish Tavern get a Mardi Gras scratch-off to win a $25 gift card, and the first 300 guests get Creole spices. Enjoy Signature Mardi Gras cocktails in light-up souvenir cups, and a doubloon hunt for a $50 gift card. Steamworks Pub’s seafood boil starts at 6 with crawfish, corn, potatoes, and bayou fixings.
