Today I was a guest speaker at a luncheon for 50 business owners, bankers, etc. I spoke about video marketing. I don't have a pic of me talking so I created this somewhat rudimentary drawing, I'm the guy on the right. Anyway it went well, in fact a business owner in the audience asked me if I could speak at his event next month. He's in the picture too, he's the skinny guy with a head, 2 arms and 2 legs.

This morning I stepped back in time to the 1920's. A speakeasy, also called a blind pig or blind tiger, is an illicit establishment that sells alcoholic beverages. This is the Blind Finch, a speakeasy that I'll capture in video in a couple of weeks. The unmarked entrance is in the back of the building, the walls have paintings, pictures and magazine articles reminiscent of the 1920;s and the boxed shelving on either side of the bar are actually lockers for members so they can keep their own private stash of booze.

Yesterday I picked up 2 pints of ice cream from Craft Creamery. (I shot a few videos for them so I already knew just how good their ice cream is). I purchased it for my girlfriend and her sister, they have never tried it before. In their words: "This is the best ice cream I've ever had!" "Wow! This stuff is amazing!" and finally "How do they make their ice cream? What's their secret?' Their secret is the Chef Steve Marques and co-owner Kimberley Kaase. BTW the 2 flavors I purchased were Vanilla (amazing!) and Bourbon Butterscotch (equally amazing). You may "scream for ice cream" but Craft Creamery's ice cream is worth dying for.
