Just wrapped up another unforgettable shoot in Los Angeles. It was an incredible experience working with such a talented crew and friends. Plus getting to film some cool vehicles and airplanes. Can’t ask for more. Hanging out of the production van with camera in hand was definitely a highlight of this shoot!

South Coast Media Services is in search of a Motion Graphics Designer/Assistant Video Editor who wants to learn and grow from one of the most experienced production teams in Houston. This job is for someone who is a visual storyteller, knows the latest trends in new media, and can quickly work back and forth between traditional and new media. Working alongside an award-winning team to create content for top-tier brands and companies.

Qualifications
2+ years of hands-on experience at a medium-to-major broadcast TV station or at a corporate marketing / creative agency
A portfolio that shows demonstrated skills in motion/graphic design and video editing.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, and Audition)
Knowledge/experience in 3D modeling/animation (Cinema 4D/Blender)
Must be willing to work in Houston, Texas
Must be willing to work flexible hours when needed, including nights, weekends, or holidays
Art school or a degree in art design is a plus

Responsibilities
Design motion and still graphics for broadcast, digital, social, and internal projects
Designer of traditional print and digital assets
Sharp eye for editing and design, particularly with typography and motion graphics/animation
Travel: Rarely: less than 10%
Work Environment Set: Office: normally performed in a typical interior/office environment
