We record, produce, and engineer local bands out of the love we carry in our hearts for music. When we started, Jacob and I intended to make one album together every month till the end of

the year. It was a beautiful silver lining to our departure from New Orleans, Loyola, and our beloved bandmate Nick Serena of Handsomebeast. Half mine half his. Our second EP was Dadsmom, who now plays shows frequently at Notsuohs and Deans. However our idea soon, and naturally, became: to expand the music scene in Houston by recording as many bands that we saw fit for our production style. So, having the opportunity to play more shows, we invited as many bands as we could to record. We also added our surrounding friends by teaching Adrian and Brandon Drums and Bass (later forming Muhchangla) and making songs with my girlfriend Amanda ( to form Pjanda: Peewee/Jacob/amANDA). We are still adding members to King Benny today. These first EPs will be free. But since we are distributing music through bandcamp, we are
only allowed 200 Free Downloads. After that is done, they'll be up for download through
donations. There has to be a minimum, unfortunately
Bandcamp is an awesome tool for artists and I strongly believe more people should take
the time to create one for their art.
