It’s time to stop hiding what’s inside of you
Last year around this time I bought a $300 used and outdated canon off of Facebook marketplace in Maryland. My only desire was to be able to use it for the social media clients I had So they wouldn’t have to go to other photographers to get the content we needed for their marketing. I had no clue what I was doing or how to work the camera..
Summer came last year and I felt a transition happening with what I was doing but I didn’t quite know where it was heading. I prayed about it and God answered by giving me an idea…. I put a post online to do a photoshoot event for women.. I labeled it “EMPOWERMENT/BRAND SHOOTS” and charged $55 for 10 photos.  I only planned for it to be a one time thing. What I thought was going to be maybe 10 women signing up…60 women signed up that week. ..long story short, by the end of the summer, I had met 300 women individually by way of photoshoots in downtown norfolk where I stayed all summer to complete the project. September came and I was done… so I thought! To date i’ve done 555 women.
This is what this project has provided…
-A way for women to EXPOSE their talents/gifts.
-A way for women to build self esteem and see themselves the way God sees them
-A way for women to level up their brand and become more valuable in the marketplace. I could go on….
I believe wholeheartedly in aswering your life’s call! It’s why I left the workplace 4 years ago and said GOD… send me… whatever it looks like…send me!
Today I still have that old $300 camera and I use it everyday to help women walk in there YES… you see, its not the tools you have, it’s the operator…It’s what you do with it. Many people are sitting on an idea right now because they don’t have the proper tools…. so they think. Well if this isn’t proof that it doesn’t take all of that then I don’t know what to tell you.

Chilly day in the mountains of Lurray Caverns Virginia ... This hobby of mine, turned assignment from GOD has allowed me to meet beautiful people and go some cool places.
