To be an effective independent artist, you need some idea of how much $$$ you actually can ever hope to get from streaming. Forget how much each service pays.

Here's the number we've found to be a good average: $0.0045 This number can fluctuate up or down depending on where your fans interact with your music. This is also only your mechanicals from streaming services. Don't get this twisted with your songwriting. (That's a whole other video.)

1 stream = $0.0045
1,000 streams = $4.50
10,000 streams = $45.00
100,000 steams = $450.00
1,000,000 streams = $4,500.00
10,000,000 streams = $45,000.00

WE'RE BAAAAAAACCK! It's been 7 longs weeks of no recording sessions. This ends tomorrow. Grab your mask. Sanitize your hands. Let's make some music.⁣

Obviously, it's not business as normal. We're concerned with our engineers' safety, and yours. There are a few changes you should know.⁣
⁣
1.) Face coverings required to enter the building. Period.⁣
⁣
2.) 3 people per studio. Yes, the engineers are people too.⁣
⁣
3.) We've got limited hours - 3 pm till 11 pm every day.⁣
⁣
4.) We're restricting booking to 4hr sessions only. There is a LOT of sanitization that happens to prepare a studio. We're not interested in doing that for 1 or 2 hr sessions.⁣
⁣
5.) We've shuffled some staff to better use their skill and talents.⁣
⁣
PROJECT ENGINEERS⁣
& are only locking in on projects. They are some of the most in-demand and difficult to book engineers in the city. We've opened up their calendar for only the best projects. Half-day tracking sessions available for $300. Mix pricing provided on a per-project basis. Need them to work on your project? Hit them up directly for availability, or hit up Studio Mgr for information.⁣

Our Staff Engineers are taking sessions . Call the main number and we'll get you booked. The rate per hour is $45. During this COVID recovery, it's 3hr minimums.⁣

Don't need to come to the studio? Get a flat rate mix. Send us your session files. An engineer will call you, review the session, and provide a custom price quote to get your song right. We've got lots of cool tools to talk with you, let you listen, and review the mix before you sign off on the delivery.⁣

We've always run through Lysol wipes. Wipe, spray, mop and sanitize. In normal times we are serious about clean and sanitized studios, so we're really not changing much. We are being mindful of the number of people in studio. There's appropriate social space for 3 people and engineer per studio. If you bring the whole family we may ask some non-essentials chill in the lounge.

Barron is committed to helping the community make music. During times of stress some of the best creations happen. When you're ready to go, we'll be here...sanitized, wiped and healthy. (Oh, we also offer all our full time employees health insurance. We're kinda proud of that.).

And if we're booked here, be sure to check out . You can get a private studio for your personal use for just $23/hr.
