A HUGE congrats to (aka Cypress Island Drive) for hitting the 1 million plays milestone on Spotify! I’m so proud and honored to have had the chance to produce and mix this song, and I still get the same goosebumps now that the very first phone demo of the song gave me last year. In the midst of all the virus insanity, we finalized the sale of the Satellite Music Group building this past Friday. It was a truly magical facility not just for me, but for the hundreds of people who have made records between these walls over the years and/or played a show in the Satellite Room venue 10 years ago. It’s where I built my career, and I’ll definitely miss it! Now that I’m in Orlando, I have completely changed my focus and business model. I am “re-branding” my operations and will drop the “Satellite” name (I have a new name picked out) as a new city calls for new beginnings. Stay tuned for more updates!

Mixing, mixing, and more mixing. Been doing a LOT of it lately! Working on a new Cypress Island Drive mix today. Even though I live in now, I’m trilled that my clients are still sending me songs to work on. Now that I’m fully settled into my new gig at Full Sail, I’m slowly but surely catching up on several months worth of studio work 🤗.

My new studio in Orlando is FINALLY up and running! All the gear has been moved in and installed, and the room has been tuned. I will primarily use this space for mixing and some production projects. I’m just ready to get going again on studio projects 😎.

I realize that I’m really late in sharing this news here, but I have officially moved to Orlando, Florida! Over the summer, I was offered a Music Production Course Director (essentially, a professor) position at Full Sail University and the opportunity was just too great to pass up. I have indeed moved my studio operations to Orlando, and moving forward, I will be focusing more on mixing while taking on the occasional production project as time permits. I am currently building a new studio in our house here in Orlando, and I’ll post pics soon. To my Houston clients... I still want to work with you! Send me your songs/tracks for mixing and production work!

I’m super proud of (aka Cypress Island Drive) for the release of his debut single called “Home,” and I’m super thankful he trusted me to produce, record, and mix it. I was totally floored when I heard the song for the first time after he sent it to me as a rough demo, and it was so much fun bringing it to life. Wow, can’t believe it’s been 3 months since my last post on here. I took a sort of “break” from a full studio schedule for a couple of months, but now I’m back in full swing with a full schedule going into 2019. Started a new project today with grunge band Crushing Planes.

Working on a new record this week with Cash Kelso (aka Days in 11). This dude is a BEAST. He’s laying down all the drum, bass, guitar, and vocal tracks himself (ala Lenny Kravitz), and he’s finished all the tracking for 8 songs in just 2 days. Super stoked about this project 😎.
