The treatment of FC Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez by the club president has been nothing short of disrespectful and concerning. In a series of events over the past few weeks, Xavi has been taken on a turbulent journey, from contemplating resignation to being promised the managerial role for the next season, only to then be sacked.

The way in which the club leadership handled the situation raises serious questions about their integrity and the trustworthiness of their decisions. It is deeply troubling that after persistently pursuing Xavi for three months, they would ultimately opt to dismiss him after he had committed to staying. This behavior reflects poorly on Laporta and the board members, demonstrating a lack of respect for Xavi, a revered club legend who has dedicated himself wholeheartedly to Barcelona.

Such actions not only undermine the stability and credibility of the club but also betray the trust of the fans who invest their emotions and support in Barcelona. To play with the feelings and future of a coach in this manner is unacceptable and reflects a level of poor management that is disheartening to witness. Xavi deserves better treatment considering his contributions and loyalty to the club.

We can only hope that Xavi finds success and fulfillment in his next venture, while Barcelona must address the repercussions of their actions and work towards rebuilding the trust and confidence of their supporters.
