Are we lucky, or what?!? Few recognize (or appreciate) Houston is the 4th largest city in America. IMHO, One of the true Bluesmen of our generation who provided a platform for success for so many important, extremely talented musicians has passed away! His vision of the impactful importance of Blues certainly helped shape the trajectory of Rock-n-Roll and other modern music. Many of his band members moved forward to have extraordinary, influential careers. I believe his last amazing guitarist before health issues required he come off the road was Texas' own, Carolyn Wonderland! RIP John Mayall
