Just as “Money is Vanity” should only come from people who have money, “Marriage is not an achievement” should only come From married people, you’re clearly not married, you have no locus standi to tell people if is an achievement or not.

Why can’t we just rest ? Dear elderly ladies, your followers and friends might not tell you but “Marriage is not an achievement” coming from an unmarried guy/lady sounds like some mental condition.

Marriage is sweet !
Marriage is very important !
Marriage is a necessity !
Marriage is sacred !
Marriage is beautiful !
Marriage is Bliss !

If you’ve not found a partner, rest, if you’re separated, estranged or divorced, rest, it is your marriage that was not an achievement not the institution of marriage, mind you I’m on this table but it’ll be so dishonest of me to try to mislead the generation after me about marriage not being an achievement.

Do everything in you strength to get married, do everything out of your strength to keep the marriage, don’t let them fool you, majority of them wake up very very bitter and it is visible on their outings on this space.

Be honest like some of us who wish to be in very blissful and sweet marriages filled with morning pecks, evening hugs and night cuddles, it is more honorable than trying to condemn the whole institution just to console yourself.

Saying that marriage is not an achievement because yours failed is just like saying that food is not nice because you hate Nkwih (for illustration purposes only, nkwih is such a delicacy), your marriage in particular might not be an achievement but marriage as a whole is an achievement .
