Tell me- 🎁 What was your favorite Christmas gift this year? 🎁🎄🎅🏼
For me, I was excited to get my first record player.
For my son, he got annual passes to a local place where we can go pet his favorite animal, capybaras! Chuck, Beesie, Gerald and Puddles loved their hornworm Christmas dinner ❤️

I cannot wake up and have coffee in peace without Chuck demanding out. He’s beyond spoiled now and I don’t know how to reverse. I watched his beard get darker and darker as he ran around, and headbobbed at me, only sitting in one place for a short moment before going to the next.

Chuck just took his LAST dose of meds!!!!
Got them down with a hornworm. I can’t express how stressful it is to give a stubborn dragon meds. I’m so glad it’s over! 🎉

Chuck is WILD today yall! Idk if I can even leave to go to the gym, he might destroy his whole enclosure 🤦🏼‍♀️ I swear, having Chuck is like having a toddler. He’s so high maintenance 🤣

Well we kinda have some Chuck health news.
Chuck’s bloodwork was normal for his CBC. But they think that there was a lab error because his uric acid was high and BUN low, and that’s not right. His xray was sent to another exotic vet for a 2nd opinion, and he didn’t see any infection going on in the lungs (plus white blood cell count was normal) They said the infection was possibly encapsulated. Whatever that means.
Either way, his breathing has improved since being on antibiotics, and we are going to finish them. They’re going to re run labs in 3 weeks.
Exotics sure are complicated. Just glad he’s doing better in all this.
