Perry County in central Arkansas... Southeastern Pope County in central Arkansas... Northwestern Pulaski County in central Arkansas... Northwestern Saline County in central Arkansas... Southeastern Yell County in central Arkansas... Northwestern Clark County in southwestern Arkansas... Central Hot Spring County in southwestern Arkansas... Northern Pike County in southwestern Arkansas... Montgomery County in western Arkansas... East Central Polk County in western Arkansas... Until 300 PM CST. At 1104 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. ROADWAY UPDATE: I just spoke with the Hot Springs Police Department. Roads are extremely treacherous. We've had snow fall and then sleet alternating for several hours. There have been Tow trucks that have run off the roadway, ambulances and police vehicles as well. *** PD estimates they have approximately 12 inches of snow at the station on Malvern Avenue. It continues to fall along with sleet. Mother Nature is not done yet.

ROAD CLOSURES: THE GORGE ROAD FROM THE CAMP GROUND TO SLEEPY VALLEY IS BARRICADED.
BLACKSNAKE IS ALSO CLOSED.
THE PARK SERVICE HAS CLOSED ALL MOUNTAIN ACCESS.
CARPENTER DAM IS BLOCKED SOUTH OF THE MLK BYPASS.

WE HAVE A MULTI VEHICLE ACCIDENT ON HIGHWAY 7 SOUTH 8.5 MILES OUT OF HOT SPRINGS TOWARD BISMARCK. EMERGENCY CREWS ARE ON THE SCENE. PLEASE AVOID THE AREA. PLEASE STAY OFF ROADWAYS. THEY ARE BEGINNING TO GET SLICK. PRAYERS FOR ALL INVOLVED.

Blankets…no big bedspreads please

Fruit…bananas, oranges, tangerines (no apples please)
Individually wrapped packages of chips, cookies, snacks
Dr. Peppers, Cokes, Sprites…no diet drinks
Bottled Water
Frozen breakfast sandwiches, sausage/biscuits, etc.
Boxes of Oatmeal
Crossword Puzzle books, Adult coloring books
Colored pencils, Sketch books
The Resource Center will be open tomorrow at 10 as we will be setting up. Deliveries can be dropped off anytime till 3.
Donations can also be dropped off Sunday at 3 or anytime next week.
