🎸 Taylor Sound has a few different ways bands and musicians can rehearse, create, and work.

The main thing people ask about is the BandShare.

A BandShare gives your band one dedicated rehearsal night every single week. Same room. Same time. Yours.

Maybe it’s Tuesdays from 5PM–10PM. That slot belongs to your band every week on a month-to-month basis. You get your keys, your room, and your routine. 🔥

We also have flexible BandShare memberships if you don’t need a permanent weekly slot.

So if BandShare C is open on a Wednesday, you can jump in and book it.

And beyond rehearsal, we also offer video studio rentals. Full-day or half-day. That includes access to the lights, PA, cyclorama wall, green screen, and the rest of the studio setup. 🎥

When you arrive, you’ll come over to the key box, punch in your code, grab your room key, and head into your dedicated rehearsal space. When you’re done for the night, just drop the key back into the return box. Simple. 🔥

🥁 Little rehearsal tip for drummers…

If you’re renting rehearsal spaces — whether it’s mine or anywhere else — bring a few of your own essentials.

The cymbals in rehearsal rooms usually aren’t going to be amazing, and honestly there’s a reason for that. Good cymbals get destroyed fast in shared spaces. 😂

So if sound matters to you, bring your own:
✔️ Cymbals
✔️ Snare
✔️ Kick pedal
✔️ Sticks

Think of the rehearsal kit as a solid foundation to get you playing quickly — not a fully customized touring setup.

And honestly, that’s okay. The goal of rehearsal isn’t perfect gear. The goal is becoming a tighter band. 🔥

Guitar players bring their guitars and amps. Drummers should just get used to packing a bag with a few important pieces of gear.

🎸 One thing I’ve noticed after years of watching bands rehearse…

Some bands spend half the rehearsal talking, tweaking gear, or getting “ready” instead of actually rehearsing.

Set up. Tune. Start playing.

And honestly — if you find yourself endlessly fussing over gear, it’s probably not the gear. I’ve had professional musicians in these rooms that sound incredible with less equipment than most people think they need.

Rehearsal is about fundamentals:

One thing I’ve noticed being around both professional musicians and amateurs… the truly inspiring artists rarely talk about gear.

They talk about music.
They talk about feel.
They talk about vibe.

Sure, equipment matters to a point. But some musicians hide behind gear instead of developing the fundamentals that actually move people emotionally.

The pros who really inspire me can walk into almost any room, plug into almost anything, and still sound like themselves.

Because the magic was never in the equipment. It was in the artist. 🔥
