Happy Unofficial close to the Summer Season better known as Labor Day. Today it is important to take a moment to reflect on the significance of this holiday and the hard-won rights that it represents.

Labor Day, is traditionally celebrated on the first Monday in September, is more than just a long weekend or the unofficial end of summer; it’s a tribute to the contributions of workers throughout history.

The origins of Labor Day date back to the late 19th century, a time of significant upheaval in the United States. As the industrial revolution progressed, workers faced long hours, dangerous conditions, and unfair wages. In response, labor unions began to form, advocating for better rights and working conditions.

On September 5, 1882, the first Labor Day parade took place in New York City, organized by the Central Labor Union. Thousands of workers marched to demonstrate their unity and demand recognition for their efforts.
