We had an amazing service today at Church International in Warrior. We had our Rooftop band singing I'm a Roof Ripper and it was so awesome! For those who don't know what this Rooftop Movement is all about just look at Mark 2:4 "And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So, when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying." Basically, the message is to rip the roof off to get you to Jesus! This is an awesome song for that message!
Some of you know that I put a lot of my lights up at Church International and have been running them at our Rooftop youth conference and at Christa Jordan's concert. What many of you may not know is I have been doing a lot of programming adding around 200 more patterns, movements, strobes, and other effects into the lights for drama's singing, a concert, preaching, and whatever else comes up. This video is a good example of that. We had a video going on the panels across the back of the stage that was showing blue, red, and pink on the left side while the right side was showing orange, yellow, and green. I made some new adjustments to the lights so they match perfectly with this video. You can't see the right side that good but you can see the lights changing colors. It was fun putting this together. I have been adding several new options to what the lights can do before every service and we have been having 3 services each week.
Setting up for a big concert on June 8 at Church International in Warrior with Christa Jordan. I still need to add a big truss with the new lights and some more LED lights Wednesday and do a lot of programming to make it all work with the show. This is my first time ever doing a concert with lighting all over a huge room like this. So far it's looking awesome!
This was the St Clair County High School Military Ball. This was the 13th time I have done this dance for them. I also did 9 proms for them so I have done more dances for this school than any of them. They always have a good time. I usually bring a lot more than I do to other shows because I have virtually unlimited power available in the kitchen right next to the lunchroom. I once did a show here where I ran seven 20 amp breakers to run everything. That was a huge setup. These new lights don't use as much power so I was able to run all of this on just four breakers. The kids had a blast. I'm sure I'll be back over there next year.
This was a massive setup that I did for the City of Hoover Public Safety Night Out in front of the Riverchase Galleria. I had 16 speakers with 42,000 watts of sound and the big truss with the 4 big lights, LED strobes, and other LED lighting. This would be the perfect setup for a very large school dance. By the time this video was made the event was over and I was just getting some video with the lights so that is why there aren't many people left.
