Had a wedding this weekend in Jemison, AL. I found out from the bride when I contracted the show that the DJ she originally hired cancelled on her 24 days before her wedding. It is totally inexcusable for any DJ to cancel on a bride especially in the last several days before the wedding! I was glad to be able to help her and give her a system for her ceremony and reception. She was very happy!
Had a massive school dance this weekend at John Carroll Catholic High School. There must have been between 400 and 500 kids there! They had the dance in this awesome atrium just inside the front of the school. I would have loved to hang a bunch of lights from that framework on the ceiling, but I didn't have any equipment to get it up there. I hope to have that capability at some point later on. The teachers were all telling me they had never had anything on a scale as big as what I brought this weekend. I had around 30,000 watts of sound with the big truss, new lights, and LED lights as well as the fog machine. The kids loved it. I'm hoping to get their prom in a few months.
