WOW, ANOTHER REALLY GREAT EVENT
The annual Christmas Bazaar held at St. Germain's Church in Hoodsport, Washington, was a fantastic success. I was extremely busy speaking to community members about Tipsy Duck Books and their interests in children's books. I received some great feedback and hopefully we made some new friends who will be sharing the joy of books with young loved ones! I even discussed a couple's desire to publish and am looking forward to them sharing their work via my Email.
I appreciated the positive energy and contributions folks made to Sunny Sky's Animal Rescue while discussing "Blue, A Story of a "Dog's" Best Friend and a True Heart."
A great day to spend with the local community! Thank you all!

THE NEW FACE OF "Happy the Balloon"
Following much work and character development with Happy, we have settled on a more expressive character. Working with an AI illustration partner is totally new, and a learning experience. The results are amazing as we have developed better ways to bring "life" and emotion to our new friend Happy! Also, Meet Giggles the Clown. Giggles will play a significant role in Happy the Balloon's life path.
This new book from Allan Mullen is on track to be published in early December.

"Happy the Balloon" has been written for several years, but is just now being refined and illustrated for publishing. This fully illustrated book will be ideal for the 3-7 year old range. Funny, sad and rewarding; this story follows a party balloon's adventure as he looses his way and eventually finds his purpose in a heart warming story. Happy the Balloon will give kids inspiration to find their own way to joy and happiness.

We recently received the finished printed copies of "Things That Toot." The graphics are bright, colorful and super attractive. CHARACTER UPDATE MEET RUDY AGAIN!
I have learned that one of the many keys to writing books children will love is being "age appropriate." AND... this is really important with illustration imagery, especially when relating to younger readers. So taking advise from my most important editor/critique, the character RUDY has been slightly tweaked to be more child-like and be relatable to my 3-6 year old readers..
