The Gallery of Hawaii Artists is an independent, alternative exhibition space dedicated to the promotion and fostering of contemporary art in Hawaii. Founded by Carolyn Mirante, GoHA has been bringing critically engaging exhibitions to the public since 2009. True to the growing phenomenon of alternative art spaces, the gallery functions as a working serviced office center during daytime hours and

boasts 4,036 sq ft of gallery space and several special performance/installation rooms. GoHA exhibitions have been featured in a multitude of print and broadcast media including NPR, Flux Hawaii, Innov8 Magazine, The Honolulu Star Advertiser, The Honolulu Weekly, and Chinatown Newspaper.

"Chaos and Order: The Artwork of Rafal Cholodzinski," a catalog of artist Rafal Cholodzinski's work from 1996-2013 will be available for pre-order online soon. It contains full-color reproductions of Cholodzinski's work and a critical essay, "Deviations: On The Ingress of Chaos in Artistic Practice" written by GOHA Director, Carolyn Mirante.

Winding down from a busy opening day!

Please be advised that the Gallery of Hawaii Artists (GoHA) will be closed in observance of the Fourth of July holiday tomorrow: Friday, July 4th, 2014. The gallery will re-open on Monday, July 7th at the usual hour.

Dear friends and fellow aesthetes: we hope to see all of you at this lecture tomorrow evening (Tuesday, March 18th) from 5:00-7:00pm at the UH Manoa Art Auditorium. The University of Hawaii at Manoa - Department of Art and Art History and Department of Philosophy are proud to welcome Dr. Peng Feng, visiting scholar from Peking University and one of the most important curators working in China today. We encourage anyone interested in Contemporary Chinese Art or aesthetics broadly to attend! This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
