Bio

Toby, born in 1968 in a small village in Switzerland, is the youngest of four children. From an early age, travel has been his main passion and the places, colors and cultures that surrounded him motivated him to buy his first camera, a Pentax A3 in 1985. From that moment on his life changed, as he was able to capture these magical moments and rather than just having them as memories he was a

ble to share them with others. At the age of 27, Toby left Switzerland and moved to Japan and then Taiwan, where he remained for several years whilst learning about the culture and how to speak the language. In 1999, Toby moved to the Hawaiian Islands where he fell in love with this unique paradise. It was here that he worked as a helicopter pilot instructor and tour pilot for thirteen years, giving him not only a bird's eye view of the magical surroundings but also the ability to experience and see places only a few lucky people have ever been. During these years, Toby spent time with some of the best photographers and film crews from the likes of National Geographic to Sports Illustrated, which assisted him to perfect the art of capturing the most inspiring images.

The Havasupai videos are finally complete.
Unfortunately, the same canyon got hit by a flash flood last week.
Let us hope that the tribe can rebuild and recover from this tragic and devastating event, restoring Havasupai to the breathtaking beauty I witnessed just a few weeks ago during my visit. My heartfelt condolences go out to the family who lost a loved one.

Aloha! I'm back with a top ten list of my favorite easy-to-intermediate , in no particular order, legal hikes on Oahu. Yes! 10 amazing hiking trails that are spread throughout the island of Oahu, Hawaii. I hope this video will inspire you to get out in nature too. In today’s day and age, it seems like a no-brainer that we should get outside more. Between the office jobs, internet-based remote work, indoor living spaces, and the amount of time we spend in our vehicles, a breath of fresh air is needed more than ever.
Hiking in nature, whether on a short jaunt or a long stretch of trail, can do wonders for your physical and mental well-being. Although there is nothing wrong with going to the gym (any movement is excellent!); getting outside of an enclosed environment and into the woods can help lift your health to a whole next level.
