We are honored to have had the opportunity to create this film about the extinction crisis facing our native Hawaiian birds, and the work that is being done to save them. The story is captivating and emotional with a mix of testimonies from Hawaiian cultural experts, scientists, and community members who are rallying together to save our Hawaiian forest birds from extinction.

Art Style Development for Animation
Exploring and developing art and animation styles was one of the first steps in producing animation for our film "Vanishing Voices: Saving Our Hawaiian Forest Birds". The Reef - Pele Award
We are pleased to announce that the PSA "The Reef" won a Pele Gold in the category of Animation, and a Bronze in the PSA category. We produced this with the Hawaii DLNR (Department of Land and Natural Resources) - Division of Aquatic Resources, who originally challenged us with the concept of connecting the importance of protecting coral with the Kumulipo.
Save Native Hawaiian Birds
The full documentary is coming this summer. We've been working with Birds, Not Mosquitoes, and the American Bird Conservancy to produce a half-hour documentary about the extinction crisis of Hawai'i's native forest birds and a massive project that is underway to save them from malaria-spreading mosquitoes. The program will air through local broadcast and digital this summer.
