So thankful and honestly surprised that I now sing and write old-school R&B 🎶😁🎶
It's all about my Soluxe crew guiding the process but somehow as a primarily inspirational pop songwriter, I guess there is some authentic r&b/soul in my bones that now gets to express thru our original project.

This is when you know church is good fun.... the band doesn't want to end the song, even when I ended it once already lol and this is the postlude but people, including the musicians, just want to stay for the sheer joy of it!
It's happened a few more times since I've started at Calvary by the Sea Lutheran Church. Last time we ended with Born this Way on Pride day, I had to go back a couple times and keep singing 'cause everyone kept singing and dancing along.
So blessed to cocreate moments like this with a beautifiul community 😍
ps the sweet mom in the video says she can see energy and that there's always this pure white light emanating from the band, from our hearts out to the church ✨️ I loved hearing this!

It was simple songs like this that transitioned me from just playing notated songs in my lessons aa a kid to writing my 1st songs to simple chords progressions.
