Did you know that Coachella, the famous music festival at the Empire Polo Club in the Colorado Desert of California owes a part of its start to Pearl Jam? In 1993, Pearl Jam wanted to boycott TicketMaster's fees and discovered that the grounds in the Coachella valley could hold a massive audience. Six years later, Coachella was born. Since then, some of the best artists in the world, including Island Sound Studios recording artists Jay Z and Beyonce, have graced the Indio stages just a couple hours outside of LA.
