Sharks Cove 4k raw test footage
Went out to Sharks Cove on the North Shore for a quick lesson with Kimberly Jeffries. We finally got the Blackmagic Design Pocket 4k into the Salty Surf Housings and took it for a swim. Really excited about the results and can't wait to get it back into the water.

Friends we’re in some difficult days, and I believe wholeheartedly that we’ll come through this stronger and more resilient than ever.
For now, we’re offering support if you need it. DM or email me if we can help.
Aloha and Stay safe out there. 🙏🏼
We’ve got some rad things in the works!
Like most of the production world, the bulk of our current projects have been put on hold (for good reason)... but there are some fun things we’re psyched about that we can’t wait to share.

Tokina 85mm 1.8 Unboxing
I’ve always loved the 85mm focal range. Whether for portraits or details... it’s a lens that allows me to isolate my subject with beautiful bokehlicous background.
What’s your favorite portait lens?

If you like smooth, stabilized video, sometimes your phone just doesn’t cut it. Over the past year, I’ve been loving the DJI Osmo Pocket. This little camera is a beast and is extremely undervalued. Built from the gimbal and camera system of the original Mavic Pro, this pocketable camera captures beautifully cinematic photos and videos, and when paired with your mobile device, has the ability to create little edited video clips right in-camera.
Both colleagues and everyday consumers are loving the flexibility of this little gimbal mounted camera and I’ve been loving it for the travel videos, vlogs, and behind the scenes content we’ve been making. If you’re in need of new camera, this is definitely worth a look.

Made Fresh: Mylen Yamamoto
Entrepreneurs don’t wait for opportunities to find them, they seek out success and double down when inspiration hits. Hometown hero Mylen Yamamoto Tansingco never set out to be an entrepreneur, but when the Cropsticks lightbulb went on, there was no stopping her.
Great inventors often have an innovative “What”, the best creators pair that with an intrinsic “Why”. That magical combination is what makes Cropsticks more than just a helpful and thoughtful product, but a conscious creation for a greener future.

Instruments of Aloha Premiere
We're so proud to finally premiere a documentary film that we started almost three years ago! This event will feature music from Honoka & Azita Honoka and Jody Kamisato of Ukulele Hale. There will be a brief introduction by Director Brad Watanabe, who'll talk about his passion for this film, along with the long planning process, involving different brands, that was necessary to get this project done.
Check our events to sign up or sign up directly through Eventbrite.

Collaborating with friends is one of my favorite ways to evolve my art and stay inspired.
It’s always a rad time connecting with Chelsea Yamase IRL and following her creative journeys around the planet.
