Crisis Inverted is better than you think it is. But.. it's still not as good as Palindrome or Cantata-57. This is a great weapon for new and returning players, and in this video I go over perks you should keep an eye out for if you happen to step into the Crucible and get this weapon as an end-of-game reward.
