Got the rest of the floor off of the passenger side frame rail!! Yes, they are galvanized frame rails!! So, I made sure to wear a respirator cause, I like life!! Tomorrow we’ll get on the drivers side and hopefully be able to make the mount for the fuel cell!!

Welp, it doesn’t look like I got anything accomplished today but, when you’re fitting bars, you have to take your time, take into consideration what will eventually be there and what this bar might be in the way of!! I’m keeping it up high and close to the core support!! It’s that tedious cut a little fit it, cut a little fit it, etc!! But I got it close (still needs some fine tuning)!! I also mocked in the clutch/brake assembly and gas pedals!!

So the “stuck” 390 is no longer STUCK!! Huge thanks to a good friend for giving me a couple of tips and tricks!! Got the crank out, than it was a game of knock up, spray the bottom, knock down, spray the top!! Knock it straight out!! Only broke 2 pistons, but plan on getting new ones anyway!! The walls look good, can’t wait to get it up to Chiefland Speed & Machine to get all the machine work done!!

So today’s adventure, got the inner fenderwells cut out!! Afterwards, I got back on the engine and tear down continues!!...

So today’s adventure, got the inner fenderwells cut out!! Afterwards, I got back on the engine and tear down continues!! Got the pan, oil pump off, got 6 of the 8 rod caps off!! Tomorrow is another day!! Sometimes I get overwhelmed and wanna give up!! I know that’s not what to do!! I need to stay positive and motivated!! Thank you all to the positive responses, I truly and sincerely appreciate them!!

Got the floor sanded, and 2 coats of encapsulator painted on!! Looks so much better than raw metal!!

Got some more of the engine tore down today as well!! Was able to finally get the crank bolt out, and the timing cover and chain set off as well!! Cam doesn’t wanna come out, still has 3 lifters stuck in there bores!!
