Praying, his ministry has had a huge impact on many of us.

Please be in prayer for The Gospel Coalition’s co-founder, Don Carson.

As he shared in a recent Christmas letter, the physical and cognitive limitations arising from his Parkinson’s Disease have forced him to end his speaking engagements and other ministry involvements. Along with scores around the world who have been touched by his decades of biblically faithful writing, teaching, and church leadership, we want to express gratitude to Don for the founding vision and ongoing guidance he has provided The Gospel Coalition, which marks its 20th anniversary next year.

Please ask the Lord to show mercy to Don and his family, granting them the knowledge of him and the sweetness of his presence as they walk through this trial. Though he is slowing down and facing significant health challenges, we take comfort in the truth Don is fond of reminding us: “I am not suffering from anything that a good general resurrection can’t fix.”

Just had the most profound dream of that moment when we finally see the New Earth and Heavens that our Father has planned for us. It was shining like a golden diamond. We all waited with extreme excitement and amazement as we approached it... (like wow this is totally happening, this is the moment we have always longed for!)

The most amazing part of this dream was not just the majesty of it all... but being able to see, feel, and hear GOD. It was like not having eyes and finally being able to see. Hearing his voice, talking with Him - as a child sits on their dad's lap kind of way - was the best part.

There was a warmth and love that transcends anything of this world, and it came from just being able to tangibly walk with God. The best thing.. is the fact that this will one day be a reality.

I awoke at 3:00am. And all I could do was weep and pray for everyone I know who doesn't have a connection with God, praying that they will soon see Him, and believe in Him.

There is power in prayer, keep praying for your loved ones who don't know God.
