After not being successful on his first moose season it was awesome to be able to get him one on his second season moose hunting. We put in a lot of work and hiked many miles to be able to get this bull, but all the work definitely paid off! After many years of hunting with this guy he’s become more like a brother than just a friend. Thankful for all the times we’ve had in the woods, on the water and in the mountains, and I look forward to many more.

The closing of moose season is always bittersweet.

With the least amount of time to moose hunt and toughest conditions I’ve ever had, to say this season was difficult is an understatement. It was filled with many challenges, from lack of time to hunt, late rut, full moon, lots of wind and rain, taking new moose hunters with me, and having more people hunting my area than ever before, and more…
Even with all the challenges God still provided us a bull and kept us safe! We have full freezers and lots of great memories to look back on! It may have not been our best year, or biggest bull but it was still another amazing season and we’re thankful for the experiences we had.
