With the increasing ownership with the availability of drones to consumers, make sure the drone operator you hire is licensed/FAA certified. Whether it’s for real estate, events, construction, insurance, marketing, or other industries that use a drone, it is important to hire a professional who understands the restricted airspace and able to obtain waivers from the FAA and the controlling agency. This is for your safety and to avoid fines starting at $11,000 for hiring an unlicensed pilot. To verify your drone pilot is certified you can simply ask for their certificate. Another option is to use the FAA’s airmen registry:

Congratulations Anna and Connor!

Connor is a friend of mine who I met when we filmed the Southern Maryland Christmas music video a few years ago. Since then it has been a pleasure working with him every Christmas season to create a music video.
