LATE MUHAMMAD HAYAT (1922-1979)

Late Muhammad Hayat,a senior and celebrated journalist from Pakistan served in Japan during the IInd World War and stationed in Japan (Nagasaki & Hiroshima) as Ordinance Depot Officer of Royal British Army.After his release in 1948 he migrated to Pakistan and started his career as a Reporter/Photographer for Sindh Observer edited and owned by Pir Ali Muhammad Rashdi. Sindhi Secretary) to Pir Pagaro.Later he also served as Advisors to Malik Feroz Khan Noon,Ayub Khuro,A.S.Pirzada besides joint Secretary Publicity Republican Party and later Joint Secretary Muslim League Convention.He also ventured film making besides founding of "International Press Service (IPSNEWS).English Weekly Businessman,Lahore, Fitrat and Newsman from Karachi
He also was an active member of the Journalist Organizations including CPNE,APNSPUJ,PFUJ and life time member of the Karachi and Lahore Press Clubs. Muhammad Hayat died at the age of 59 on March 27,1979 in Lahore.He was born in Muzaffarnagar(India) on Feb.1922 in a well known religious family.
