Let’s talk about symbols with mediumship! Our loved ones who have passed on love to visit and continue to look over us as we continue on with our lives. And they often will send us signs that they’re here. My grandfather who I called Bumpa, he sends me a red cardinal. My other grandfather shows me 11:11. And my grandmother sends me squirrels doing weird things 😂, which always brings a laugh out of me.

How do we find a symbol for them? Just ask! You don’t need me, or another medium around to talk to them, they can hear you when you speak to them. It’s just sometimes it’s hard to hear them back on your own. Ask your loved one to send you what their symbol will be. Then just keep an open mind to what kind of things draw your eye and what things you see with repetition. It might not be exactly what you’re expecting either. For example if you see a butterfly it might not be a live one flying in front of your face and landing delicately on your shirt, it might be that you are walking down the road and your eye catches on someone walking by with a butterfly tattoo, or seeing a butterfly on a poster in a store you’re in. If you’re seeing something frequently that reminds you of them, it’s a good sign that’s their symbol. My grandmother was a squirrel whisperer and would feed her local squirrels so that’s why she sends them to me but only if they’re doing something ridiculous. Symbols can be anything and everything that brings a warm comforting feeling of their memory and reminds you that they’re still with you.

I want to extend my deep condolences to the family. The passing of Heather Woodman saddens me deeply. She always had a smile and a little something to make you laugh in every conversation. Her love of the cryptid world was both exciting and heartwarming. I hope she now has all the answers to all her questions about these creatures. She will be missed.
