Holland Intermediate: 7:25 a.m. – 2:05 p.m.
Springfield Middle School (SMS): 7:55 a.m. – 2:40 p.m.
Springfield High School (SHS): 8:10 a.m. – 3:05 p.m.
Crissey / Holloway Elementary: 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Dorr Elementary: 8:35 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Preschool Hours: No change

Real-world pathways in action. Springfield High School STEP Program students in Mrs. Jenni Kings classroom connected with Central Midwest Carpenters during a career-focused presentation led by SHS alumnus Dylan Hall and Ohio Carpenters’ Area Training Coordinator Aaron Gunderman. The visit highlighted apprenticeship opportunities and next steps for students interested in skilled trades.

Service in action before winter break🍪

Students from the BPA Club, Chick-fil-A Leader Academy, and African-American Club baked nearly 400 cookies for the Family House Shelter and Cherry Street Mission. The BPA Club also donated socks to the YWCA through a student-led sock drive.

Springfield Local Schools honored the 2025 Hall of Fame inductees during a special induction ceremony and luncheon on Saturday, December 27. The eight honorees were recognized for their achievements, service, and lasting contributions to Springfield Local Schools and the greater Springfield community.

Throughout the celebration, inductees reflected on the pride, connection, and shared values that continue to define the Springfield experience.

Springfield High School Athletic Director Andrew Screptock has earned the prestigious Certified Athletic Administrator (CAA) designation from the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association; one of the highest professional recognitions in interscholastic athletics.
This national certification reflects his leadership, expertise, and commitment to serving student-athletes. Congratulations on this well-deserved achievement.
