Agriculture Recovery Resource Day to be Held Oct. 29 - Learn about programs and resources available for Hurricane Helene Recovery in Virginia

GALAX – Federal agencies, including the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), along with numerous Virginia commonwealth agencies and nonprofit organizations will participate in an Agriculture Recovery Resource Day on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024. Staff and local experts will be on hand to discuss programs and resources that can support your farm’s recovery if impacted by Hurricane Helene.

The event takes place at the Mountain View Baptist Church located at 112 Mountain View Road in Independence, Va., from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
