Rissi Palmer: For me, performing is letting go. Probably the freest you will ever see me is on stage. And that's a great thing. That's one of the reasons why I love performing so much. On stage, it's just the music and the spirit. The spirit of performance kind of takes over.

Blake Christiana of Yarn: The people at Sonark were just super professional. I first met Josh because I did a concert series in Hillsborough with him. He was just so engaging, so positive and passionate. And that's all you need.

The moment you walk in, they're embracing you. It makes for like a beautiful experience and it makes you play better. Everyone at Sonark seemed to be having a good time. That's what you want to work with… daily. You don't get places like that (all the time). So you embrace the ones that you get. They're good people.

Founded in 2004 by songwriter/guitarist/singer Django Haskins, The Old Ceremony The Old Ceremony quickly became a pillar of Chapel Hill’s rock scene with their Self-Titled debut record, mixing theatrical noir arrangements with psychedelic tinges and rock energy. After fifteen years of touring in the US, Canada, and Europe, they continue to reinvent themselves from night to night. Their most recent albums, 2014’s Fairytales and Other Forms of Su***de and 2016’s Sprinter (produced by Mitch Easter with a guest appearance by R.E.M.’s Mike Mills) were released by Yep Roc Records.

Carolina Guitar Repair has a retail location in Raleigh offering a variety of services including
setups, fretwork, electronic repairs, nut and saddle work, refrets, pickup installs and wiring,
restrings and more. Carolina Guitar Repair specializes in individually tailoring each service to
the needs of each musician.
