Elevated Fire risk today for Hill County due to low humidity and gusty winds.

-🕛 By noon, our humidity starts dropping below 35, and wind gusts start rising to 14mph.
-🕑 By 3pm, our humidity drops to 26, and wind gusts up to 20mph with sustained winds of 12mph.

⚠️Low humidity and higher winds are ingredients for fires to spread quickly in dry conditions. Anyone conducting a controlled burn should exercise caution.
