Pausing for dinner. Jaspers is now a fully analog tower of live performance boards, feeding into a submix and cascading into the main recorder. Modular power supply has been upgraded since it seemed to be lacking juice with the newer Metasonix module additions.
Up next is the sequencer configuration and tabletop synths, and integrating ALL the midi into this.

Complete. MIDI is still to be routed and there are other cables to the mixer that will be for a keyboard going under the standing desk, but that’s fairly simple compared to the task this was for me to undertake. Needless to say once the workstation is fully connected writing will be commencing with ferocity over the coming months for a series of planned releases. More soon!!

In 2008 I set up a collection of amps and recorded multiple outputs from a Machinedrum and Monomachine as well as my Juno 6 for what was then being called album 5 for The Wretch. That session and at least 25-30 others were left abandoned. Fast forward to this weekend and Album 5 is complete, it’s been pushed out to prepare for its release, and now I’m looking back at what came before. The new album is completely new as of 2021, no older demos made it in, but I wonder - would it be fun to go back and bring some of these old demos out to play?

Patch is developing into a performance arrangement, slowly but surely

First sounds from the Metasonix RK8 Filterwall prototype. Phone audio only - first few seconds are dry signal then I mute and bring up the full processed signal for some tweaking. More direct audio and video to come
