This spacious location was chosen for its lush green backdrop and white flowers, fences and other details which complement the quartet's wardrobe. Audio was captured live and in some songs you can hear birds chirping in the background adding a beautiful atmospheric detail. Two DSLR cameras captured the performance, one on a tripod, the other on a gimbal. The gimbal was able to give the sensation of floating through the scene. We used the trees, plants and flowers in our framing and composition to strengthen the parallels between the beauty of the song and the beauty of the scenery.

Sometimes you have a band that just needs you to set the scene and roll the cameras. These musicians needed a setting with effects and lights that rocked as hard as they did! Video walls, dynamic moving lights and let's not forget the indoor pyrotechnics turned our studio into a rockstars playground.
Our 30' x 12' two tier stage gave the performers plenty of room to jump, dance and strike a pose. Using prerecorded audio on playback, we were able to capture the action again and again from every possible angle. Three videographers operated 4 DSLR cameras with cranes, gimbals, sliders, tripods and top handle mounts.

This video production was filmed at a location chosen by the band leader. We captured live audio since it was important to the singers that clients hear their authentic vocals. Our producers worked alongside the venue's designers to create flattering soft lighting with color accents. Additionally, VISUAL worked with the venue's designers on staging and subject placement ensuring good depth of field and symmetry. The video was shot on 3 Canon DSLRs utilizing gimbals, tripods and sliders. In post production, we simply color corrected, added minimal color grading and cut the footage to highlight the action.

With vocals this good and dynamic harmonies, it was crucial to record clean, high quality audio. This artist's attraction is his artistic process of looping and harmonizing with himself making composition an important factor in production. We draw attention to his modern one-man band style by showing close ups of his foot striking the pedals, medium shots of his singing and guitar playing along with wide shots to reveal the setting. We wanted to flatter the musicians style by shooting outdoors with decorative background lights at night mimicking an intimate fireside performance. Equipment used includes: 3 DSLR cameras, tripods, gimbals, LED video lights and multi-colored atmospheric lights. Although this was a small production, it was extremely effective.with vocals this good and dynamic harmonies, it was crucial to record clean, high quality audio. With a larger band, it's important that all musicians are in view for wide shots while not seeming cramped. We solved this problem by constructing a 30' x 12' two tier stage in our studio giving each performer enough space to be animated during filming. Some choreography was used to help the performers interact with the full stage.
Incorporating our video walls and moving lights in the production complemented the tempo of the songs as well as the motions of the performers. Prerecorded audio on playback gave our team flexibility with compositions, angles and equipment; providing more options for editing. Three videographers operated 4 DSLR cameras with cranes, gimbals, sliders and tripods.

VISUAL produced this video for entertainment sales and marketing. This trio was looking for a video production to market towards clients hiring for intimate gatherings. Their contemporary brand was highlighted by elegant hanging lights of different depth and heights; making the compositions more visually interesting. Smooth camera movements and detailed closeups gave them the style they were looking for. The time of day was an important factor of the shoot as the sun had not completely set. This allows for the background to stay visible while the video and practical lights draw focus to the musician's gestures and performance. For this shoot audio was recorded live. A simple set up of two DSLR cameras, multi-colored lights, LED video lights, a gimbal and one tripods were all that were need for this production.

This duet has created multiple videos with us in order to market to a variety of client needs. Upon arriving to the filming location, one of our audio technicians noticed the wind was interfering with the audio quality and quickly came up with a solution. Instead of recording live, our audio team turned a room inside the building into a sound studio to avoid wind noise. We then used speakers for playback during filming to synchronize the audio as we would with any shoot using prerecorded tracks. A great example of our team's adaptability and creative problem solving abilities. Multi-colored lights accented the cool blues of the city skyline at dusk and the warm hue from the background lights at night. A simple set up of 2 DSLRs, video lights, multi-colored lights, a gimbal, slider and tripod were used to create this video.

This contemporary band decided to shoot at a venue which would best help clients envision this performance at their event. To add more authenticity, audio was recorded live. Lighting was positioned to illuminate the front of the stage, highlighting the vocalists while the backline musicians were less illuminated for contrast. A white lucite stage with an elevated wrap-around back tier complimented the simple yet elegant white backdrop. This was shot on 3 Canon DSLRs with gimbals, tripods, and most prominently, a crane.
