Perry Bamonte, the guitarist and keyboardist in the Cure, has died after battling a short illness over Christmas. He was 65.

The Cure confirmed Bamonte’s death on the band’s website on Friday, remembering his contributions to the group during his two stints in the band, first from 1990 through 2005, and then from 2022 until now.

A BOIL WATER NOTICE has been issued from Golden State Water Company for Wrightwood Residents:

"Due to a storm damaged hydrant outage caused by heavy debris flows and flooding, the State Water Resource Control Board Division of Drinking Water and Golden State Water Company are advising you to use boiled tap water or bottled water for drinking and cooking purposes until further notice.
