The concept behind How the World Should Work was first presented thematically in Matt Shao's debut novel, Continuity. Eventually the themes of the book transitioned into a blog, which in turn evolved into a podcast (with the help of Johnny Wiggins and William Burkitt). What began as a very simple project is rapidly becoming a movement of its own, as How the World Should Work is now officially a ch

artered nonprofit organization with much bigger plan in store. The overall mission of How the World Should Work is to actively address the current status quo of various institutional, business, and ethical practices with a focus on aligning their values and standards with those of our rapidly evolving, globalized society.
