Whether as Dylan's backup band, once he went electric, or on their own, The Band influenced musicians far and wide with their eclectic mix of folk, rock, country, and Americana music. Not bad for a group of predominantly Canadian-born artists. Their album, The Last Waltz, is also credited as being one the best live albums of all time.
