What a wonderful message about our awesome town!

We received this sweet message and photo collage from a visitor, Deborah Papineau Gregory. Her words and photos warmed our hearts and we're so glad she shared them with us and let us share with you! ā¤ļø

Good Morning,

I am but a stranger, but I fell in love with your charming town of Hendersonville, North Carolina. In mid-September, we spent two glorious weeks to escape the sweltering heat of Florida. It was a wonderful adventure of great folks, food, and good ole North Carolina hospitality.

My husband and I are both saddened by the devastation from Helene that ravaged Western North Carolina and would like to extend our heartfelt thoughts to you. We watched with tears in our eyes as we saw the unbelievable damage that was occurring while Helene was making her way through North Carolina. My heart goes out to everyone who suffered losses during this inescapable storm.

I wanted to reach out and let you know that I was touched by all the wonderful things I was able to experience while in North Carolina and wanted to recap and share some of the highlights of our trip. Please enjoy the attached photo collage of some of my memories.

ā€¢While in Hendersonville, we stayed in a lovely loft located on Main Street.
ā€¢Mornings were spent enjoying warm cinnamon rolls at McFarlans Bakery
ā€¢Devouring yummy Egg Biscuit sandwiches at Mike's On Main Street
ā€¢Enjoying delicious lunches and sandwiches at various restaurants in town,
ā€¢Fabulous dinners at West First Wood Fired Campfire Grille, Mezzaluna, Brooks Tavern, and so many others.
ā€¢Attended the 9/11 event in front of the courthouse,
ā€¢Sang the Star Bangled Banner with first responders,
ā€¢Danced in the street at Rhythm & Brews Downtown Hendersonville, NC
ā€¢Shopped the many quaint shops in downtown,
ā€¢Tasted many brews at the welcoming breweries,
ā€¢ Relaxed at several wineries while enjoying treats and tastings,
ā€¢ Explored Asheville,
ā€¢ Played mountain golf at several courses,
ā€¢ Visited Brevard, Waynesville,
ā€¢ Traveled the Blue Ridge Parkway in both directions, first the north side then the south.
ā€¢ And just enjoyed walking around your beautiful, charming town capturing beautiful memories with my camera.

I had so much fun capturing the heart of your beautiful town and wanted to share with you some of my favorites images in the attached collage. It is a way of saying thank you to all of the warm, wonderful folks who made us feel at home while visiting your charming town. We are so looking forward to coming back to Hendersonville to create more heart felt memories soon.

Thank you and your wonderful town for two fantastic weeks in Hendersonville, North Carolina.

Happy Trails, ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦untilā€¦..
