my •hot take• on bo***ir.

We as women are pushed into unrealistic beauty ideals beginning before we even enter elementary. It’s subtle, subconscious. Barbie looks a certain way, magazines feature a certain body type; you get the picture.

To me, bo***ir is about taking back some of that power. Reinventing our idea of beauty. Women are powerful and our bodies reflect the power that we hold.

I have never been able to stomach “editing” when it comes to body image. To me, editing away stretch marks, cellulite etc., feels like I become a part of the problem.

The body you see below needs no editing, neither do you. 🖤
