Sheriff Brame said just now to WIZS, "Mr Hargrove was found earlier (this) morning by Virginia State Police about 5 miles from his residence."

❗️❗️❗️Mr. Hargrove has been safely located and reunited with his family ❗️❗️❗️

The Vance County Sheriff's Office is seeking the Public's assistance in locating Wade Hargrove. Mr. Hargrove is a 77 year old male who lives in the 3000 Block of Rock Spring Church Rd. in the Townsville Community.

Mr. Hargrove is a black male, 5'6" weighing around 140 lbs.
Mr. Hargrove was last seen yesterday around 11:00am wearing a brown shirt. khaki jacket, khaki colored jogging pants, a black ball cap and casual black shoes.

He suffers from cognitive impairment and may have gotten lost while walking from his residence.

Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Mr. Hargrove please call 911 or the Vance County Sheriff's Office at 252-738-2200

Bennett told WIZS News that certified teaching staff currently get a supplement of $2,500 – that amount hasn’t gone up since at least 1999 – that’s 25 years.

In its funding request to commissioners, the Vance County Board of Education had asked that the supplement be doubled, and that classified staff get a 10 percent salary supplement.
