Skylar Fincken is our next senior. Skylar is Multi-Media Journalist and a 3 year GVTV Member. She is attending UNLV in the fall, hoping to study Journalism and Performing Arts. She was a part of the archery club and has her own YouTube channel. Her favorite memory was her first newscast anchoring during her Junior year and her advice is to get ahead of the game when it comes to work. Thank you Skylar for all that you have done!

Evan Maceachern is our next senior spotlight. Evan is our engineering specialists and a 4 year GVTV member. He is attending UNLV in the fall for Journalism & Media Studies. He was a SkillsUSA member and directed the Foothill High School Every 15 Minutes. His favorite memory was recording interviews with Trevor for 3 hours straight and his advice is to take your job seriously and show that you can solve problems on your own. Aiden Wilson is our next senior spotlight. Aiden is the DIRTEK and a 4 year GVTV Member. He is attending SUU in the fall majoring in Computer Engineering. He was a member of SkillsUSA and was the Vice President his Sophomore & Junior year. Lucy Christensen is our next senior spotlight. Lucy is a news anchor and a 2 year GVTV Member. She is attending Cosmetology School at G Skin & Beauty Institute in the fall. One day, she dreams of owning a salon because she loves experimenting with hair and makeup. A fun fact about her is that she was nicknamed Lucy by her mom for resembling the I Love Lucy character and she also has a love for dancing. She was a member of Kpop Club. Her favorite memory was hanging with friends and all the fun moments before newscasts. Lucy’s advice is to not procrastinate and have fun. Thank you Lucy for all that you have done!

Jake Kolman is our next senior spotlight. Jake is a sports anchor and a 2 year GVTV member. He is attending Nevada State for secondary education in the fall. He was a SkillsUSA member, football player, and did track. His favorite memory was the SkillsUSA trip to Reno and his advice is to do your B-roll and Newsbeats. Something cool about Jake is that he lives by the acronym FBGM (Focus, Believe, Grind, Manifest). Thank you Jake for all that you have done!

Josh Kolman is our first senior spotlight. Josh is our live entertainment manager, sports anchor, and has been apart of GVTV for 4 years. This fall, he is attending CSN to then transfer to UNR for sports media. He was a SkillsUSA member and a football player. His favorite memory is anchoring during sophomore year and his advice is to step out of your comfort zone and have fun. Make sure to catch his podcast next year.
