West Helena residents please take note!

We have asked the local radio stations to run this PSA for your information and protection:

This is a special announcement from the City of Helena West Helena.

To the residents of West Helena who are without water. If your water supply is off, it is strongly recommended to shut down the water heater as a precaution until the water supply resumes.

Continuing to run your water heater when the tank is not full could cause heat damage to the internal components.

Again, If you do not have water you should shut off the water to your water heater to avoid irreparable damage to the water heater.
