We're excited to bring back the pet of the week series from the Heber Springs Humane Society! This weeks' Shelter Spotlight is Sunday.

With her pudgy frame and big, soulful brown eyes, Sunday is an absolute sweetheart who's impossible to resist! Sunday is a 3 year old Pit mix who was found as a stray with a snake bite, she's shown remarkable resilience in the face of adversity. While she may have a slight wobble as a result, Sunday's indomitable spirit and unwavering sweetness remains untouched. Sunday would like to be the only princess in the house. Sunday is searching for a forever home where she can experience the love and care she deserves.

A REMINDER FROM THE ASSESSOR'S OFFICE, if you are 65 years old and your principal address is in Cleburne County, you are entitled to have your (real estate) property taxes frozen. We will need a copy of your Arkansas Driver's License. After your taxes are frozen the only way you will see an increase will be if you make additions to your home, add storage to your property, or a millage increase. Also, check your tax bill and make sure that you are getting the Homestead Credit. If you have more than one residence, you only qualify for the Homestead credit on one property and that is your principal address.
