Cordele reports a 52 mph wind gust & Albany a 48 mph wind gust. The worst of the weather is over for both locations. 6:45am 2/16/2025

As of 6:38am Sunday we are watching a line of severe storms just west of the area. Wind gusts to 60mph expected with an isolated tornado possible as the line moves through.

We should be under watch shortly.

Tornado Watch in effect until 9am for Toombs and Montgomery counties. Fast moving line of storms will produce gusty winds and a low end tornado threat. Severe threat should clear the coast around 11am. Make sure to have weather alerts turned on!
