Christmas dinner tonight at the lovely home of our President Paula Boggs. We thank her and her co-hostesses Sandy Johnson, Sherry Burchell, Tawny Acker, and Vana Francis. Thanks Paula for the fun trivia game, complete with great prizes! We are watching the weather. We hope to see everyone Sunday, December 14, for the Tour of Homes.

Tour of Homes is Sunday, December 21 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. We look forward to seeing everyone at these beautiful houses. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the door, or in advance from the DecoratingCenter or any club member; refreshments served at each home.

The Hazard-Perry County Women’s Club invites the community to celebrate the season in style during its annual Christmas Tour of Homes from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 14.

Bernice Callahan, retired floral designer at The Decorating Center, has a newly-renovated house to show us on Sunday, December 14 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. during the Tour of Homes. She invites everyone to see what her family created for her. Tickets are only $20 to see four residences and proceeds go to making Christmas even more special for needy families.

We thank Serena Anderson of Hazard for being our guest speaker at our September meeting. Serena, of Sunrise Children’s Services, spoke of the major need for foster homes in the region.
