So excited for my clients as we just got them set up for a spring break adventure in Oahu! They came to me and said they wanted something in the US where they could swim and snorkle. Now I was just in Florida and let me tell you, the ocean is COLD!!! So we settled on Hawaii and got nonstop flights out of Denver! We will look into some snorkeling tours and get tickets to Pearl Harbor. I hope they enjoy everything Oahu has to offer and have the best spring break!

Back from Walt Disney World and here is my take away:

✨I had the opportunity to use and navigate the parks using the DAS pass. It was very good for me to experience this to better help future clients

✨We bought lightening lane passes and used them in conjunction with the DAS pass

✨We tried three new dining options and a few of our old favorites using the dining plan

✨I-4 is something I travel regularly. Traffic this trip was nuts but great for me to see and experience

✨We had the opportunity to see Clearwater since the hurricane and check out what is open/ok vs what is no longer

✨I was able to utilize what Disney offers in regards to accessibility for those that need extra help. It was great to see how awesome they are and the accommodations they can/do offer.

I am so thankful for this experience and the knowledge I received because of it. Everytime I go I come home and review my custom itineraries to make sure everything is up to date for clients! Can’t wait to be back on site in June!

All good things must come to an end. Learned so much this week at Walt Disney World and continued my knowledge on the parks! Would love to help you with any future Disney vacation, Cruise, Universal, Sea World, and Discovery Cove vacations. I have personally been to them all as well as all Orlando/Tampa water parks. Two fun facts about my day…..

1. I became an annual pass holder!!!! ✨ Now girl math tells me if I come back once more then it’s basically free 😆 Time to book my return visit!

2. I got my meet up with an old friend today and I was so excited to see her here. So my travel agency that I work for is ran by one of my dearest friends. My company owner has been my friend for a solid 18 years. Her daughter is here at Disney working the Disney College Program so I knew I needed to find her. It was so exciting to see her at Disney Springs and hear about the program. She is loving it!! Hoping to see her once more before we leave.

Hoping the rest of our week is as good as the start!

Memories…….I love vacation memories!!

People say “you should wait to take your kids to Disney so they can remember it” but these memories…..these are for me 🩷

Back at my favorite place for the next week. Disney World absolutely refreshes me. I love the atmosphere, the people, the excitement and the carefree feeling we have when we are here. Excited to share some of my favorites!!

Today is travel day!!! ✈️ 🧳

So, today started early for my clients with flights from Hays. Everything was going great until they got to LAX and…….have plane issues. They have been on and off the plane twice which is frustrating but unfortunately a part of travel. The nice thing is that we have been able to work together to figure things out. I have a great system that makes custom itineraries. These automatically update flight changes and delays which help me stay in the loop! I hope tomorrow morning they wake up with the most amazing view and it will all be worth it!!!

They get to go enjoy a week in Hawaii! 🌺 They will start at Waikiki beach, enjoy Pearl Harbor and Kualoa Ranch. They will pack up and their next stop will be Aulani a Disney Resort and Spa. Once they get there I know it will be amazing…..they will even get to enjoy the spa and a luau! Let’s send them all good vibes 😎 as they will hopefully be in the air soon!!

One more to close out my night! ✈️☀️

I got to work with a family today to pick a fall getaway destination. We were after a relaxing family destination, plenty to do, flights from Hays and a nice calm ocean to enjoy. I picked 6 good options and we settled on Barcelo Maya Palace in the Riviera Maya. We got them all set up so they can check this all off the list.

🛳️Carnival Dream

Just got a friend set up for a sailing on the Carnival Dream AND they leave Feb 22nd! No time to wait because it will be time to sail before they know it.

Today my clients are headed to Costa Rica! 🇨🇷

Two days ago we had to cancel one of the rooms due to illness. Luckily they have travel insurance so we got them set up with info to get a claim filed. Very disappointing but glad that travel insurance was purchased. Hopefully we can get them set up to still go later this year.

With weather upsetting most of the south coast today, my clients had to fly into DFW a day early. We got them set up with a hotel by the airport and they are set for their nonstop flight into Liberia today.

Upon arrival they will be greeted by a touring group I continually use and love! They will transfer over to Westin Reserva Conchal for 6 nights. They will enjoy the resort, an atv tour, a trip to Rio Celeste where they will hopefully see some sloths 🦥 and just enjoy the resort.

Costa Rica is truly a one of a kind vacation. It has so much to enjoy, see and do. I hope that my clients have the best time enjoying this beautiful country!! Pure Vida 🏝️

Happy Travel day!!! ✈️

Three ladies head out today on a girls trip!!!🏝️ they will spend the week at TRS Coral in Costa Mujeres. This area is a quiet area north of Cancun and known for its beaches. We often see beautiful beaches and water up this way. I hope they enjoy it. Have the best week ladies!

Happy travel day!!! 🚗 🗺️

My clients arrive at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort today for a 5 night stay. They decided to drive so they are actually staying overnight in Daytona and will arrive earlier in the day. I hope it will be filled with lots of fun and plenty of memories.

Caribbean Beach was the resort I stayed at on my first visit 10 years ago. It’s a big resort with lots of charm, Skyliner access, sandy beaches, and we can’t forget about Sebastian’s Bistro. It’s a nice relaxing break after a day at the parks.

Currently Disney has booking open through December of 2025. If Disney is on the 1025 bucket list let’s start planning today!!

Time for a resort spotlight 🔦

Sandos Playacar Playa Del Carmen

This resort property is located in Playacar and is a budget resort. You will often see great pricing on this resort. But what this also means is that you absolutely have to keep expectations in place when visiting.

So let’s talk about this resort. If you want one of the best beaches in the area, this is it. The beach here absolutely is the shining star at this resort. It is beautiful!! Palm trees on the beach offer shade, the sand is soft, it isn’t as plagued with seaweed and most days you can see go the bottom. Great entertainment is offered nightly. You have access to their sister resort which has a water park. They have animals all over the resort with lush surrounds.

Now the not so good….it is huge so rooms are a ways from the beach. The rooms are spacious but older. Sometimes dinner reservations are hard to get. Food is always subjective but some love and some hate.

Here’s the thing, when looking for resorts with clients I will always lay out the positives and the negatives. What’s a good fit for some isn’t a good fit for others. If you want a nice beach at an amazing price point and the rest is inferior……this may be for you!! Message me for pricing but in the meantime, check out the beach in the pics below.
